CISSP - Exam Day

For me, morning time is better than the afternoon, so I booked a morning time exam.

It takes me more than one hour from home to the test center. I do not want to be late by any reasons, so I visited the place a few days before the exam, went through the route from train station to the test center. The examination guide said that one has to arrive at least 30 minutes before the test. I arrived at the place about an hour earlier.

The staff told me to read the notes on the gate first. I thought I'd go to the bathroom right before the exam. However the staff told me, I can not leave the room after the check in process proceeded. So I hurried to the bathroom. That was the only thing that I did not expected.

I was guided to the computer room after signing the agreement, got my photo taken. I brought with me couple of tissue paper just in case I got running nose.

The test started smoothly. I can't tell you anything about the exam, but I'll list what I've found on Youtube and the web, I don't know if they are true or not, but I just did as they said:

1.

The first 10 questions of the exam are very important.

I planned to proceed at a pace of 1 minute 12 seconds per question, but I heard that these first 10 questions are very imoortant, I'd better to take time, and answer them all correct. So no rush for the first 10 questions.

2.

Of the first 100 questions, only 75 are scored and 25 are not. But no one knows which ones aren'f be counted.

However, when you find one question is really annoying, please don't think this way, "OK, this problem probably won't count." We should not rely on our luck, try to answer every question as best as we can. I also heard that from the answers to these 25 questions, the test engine will decide the rest questions difficulty level. So my advice is, never give up on any question.

3. Many people who passed the exam said that the questions are really difficult, and they even felt annoying during the exam. It seems that the better you are, the more difficult questions you will get. If you find it difficult along the way, it might be a good thing.

For me, I did not experience like what people said. Of course they were not easy, however except 3 or 4 questions which I have never seen before, the others were all right, either I did before or I did similar questions before.
